Housing Hub formed in 2022 to improve access to affordable and healthy housing in Tennessee’s South Cumberland Plateau. Its work is centered on three core pillars: provide affordable housing, homeowner education, and workforce development in the communities they serve.
“This is about people, neighbors. It’s about what we’re doing tomorrow that affects five years down the road,” said Julie Keel, Executive Director of Housing Hub. “I can help somebody do something right now that’s going to impact their future in a big way.”
Working in affordable housing can be costly, but it’s worth the investment, Keel said.
