Through housing development, affordable rental homes, financial coaching, and community lending, Eastern Eight takes a comprehensive approach to helping families overcome credit barriers and move toward lasting homeownership.
If you don’t have a safe, sound home to come to at the end of the day, then you can’t function properly and you can’t focus on work or school,” said Sherry Trent, CEO. “Safe, affordable housing gives everybody the opportunity for family stability.”
That belief drives projects such as six newly built townhomes in Jonesborough, where families who would have faced monthly payments of $2,300 or more are able to move in for under $800, giving them the opportunity to build financial stability.
